What I have been up too lately

I have recently started playing around with a new material, moving on from fabric, buttons and enamel flowers for the moment. I still LOVE all kinds of fabric and imagining the cute things I could make with them, including my button jewellery, but I am now OBSESSED with something else!

I have rediscovered the fun that can be had playing and creating with polymer clay.

I remember playing with FIMO and Sculpey polymer clays as a kid and loving the fact that, unlike many other types of clay, they can be fired in the oven at home.

I have encorporated some of my button making supplies and the metal washers I had been playing around with previously into my new jewellery and I am really enjoying experimenting with polymer clay and the results I am getting.
